今回は壁付けキャットステップにトライ。賃貸でも置けるサイズで設計してます。メイン材は今回もイタウバ。雨ざらしでも 10 年は安心です。板の角は鉋で R 面取り。爪が引っかからないように仕上げてます。家族にも好評で作って良かった。
Steps
コンベックスで 3 回測って数値を揃えました。ここで 1mm でもズレるとあとで響くので慎重に。
墨壺は使わずシャーペン派。墨線が薄い方が削って消せて、最終仕上げで困らないので。
卓上スライド丸鋸でまとめて切断。切断面の直角が出るので、後の組み立てが圧倒的にラクです。
棒ヤスリで木口の繊維方向に沿って軽く面取り。塗装ノリが目に見えて変わります。
ビス径より 1mm 細い下穴を入れる流派。SPF みたいな柔らかい材ほど下穴サボると後悔します。
鬼目ナットを使って分解可能な構造に。引っ越し対応も視野に入れたモジュール設計です。
ブライワックスのジャコビーンを布で擦り込み。1 時間置いてからウエスで磨くと自然な艶が出ます。
