折りたたみダイニングテーブルを自作しました。賃貸でも置けるサイズで設計してます。ウリンを使ったので、初期費用は張りますが長期的にはこちらが安いと割り切ってます。ハードメープルは硬くて加工が大変ですが、傷が付きにくいので食卓向きです。完成までトータル 1 ヶ月、ゆるゆる進めて楽しかったです。
Steps
現地でメジャーを当てて、家具との干渉が出ない最大寸法を確定。木取り図を 1 枚にまとめてからホームセンターへ。
ゼットソーの替刃で手鋸カット。電動と違って騒音気にせず夜でも作業できるのが地味に便利。
ビス径より 1mm 細い下穴を入れる流派。SPF みたいな柔らかい材ほど下穴サボると後悔します。
鬼目ナットを使って分解可能な構造に。引っ越し対応も視野に入れたモジュール設計です。
水準器を 4 方向で当てて水平確認。1 箇所 2mm の浮きがあったので脚の底を削って調整。
