突っ張り式キャットタワーを自作しました。築年数が経った家なので、雰囲気に合わせて少し重めの作りに。ハードウッド (ウリン) を選択。重さと固さに作業中泣かされました。ハンモック部はキャンバス地、洗濯機で丸洗い可能にしました。次は別のサイズで再チャレンジ予定です。

猫の身体に合わせて段の間隔を 350mm に設定。ジャンプ可能な距離を意識してます。
Cut

支柱用 2x4 を 1500mm、棚板 (1x10) を 400mm にカット。本数分まとめて切り出し。
Sand
#120 → #240

猫の爪が引っかからないよう、棚板の角は鉋でしっかり R 面取りしました。
Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm

支柱と棚板の接続用に 5mm の下穴を貫通。ボルト + 鬼目ナットで分解可能に。

ベース → 支柱 → 棚板の順に組み立て。ベース板は MDF 2 枚重ねで重心低めに。

支柱に麻ロープを 6mm 隙間ゼロで巻き付け。爪研ぎ機能を兼用してます。
