市販品ではしっくりこなかったので無垢材ダイニングテーブルを自分で組みました。一人暮らしなので一人で組み立てられる構造に。ハードメープルは硬くて加工が大変ですが、傷が付きにくいので食卓向きです。ホームセンター店員さんに相談しながら進めたのが良かった。

Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm

ビス径より 1mm 細い下穴を入れる流派。SPF みたいな柔らかい材ほど下穴サボると後悔します。
Build the frame
Tighten joints firmly

下から積み上げる順で仮組み → 直角確認 → 本締めの 3 ステップで進行。焦らないのがコツ。
Inspect

実際に荷重を載せてみて、軋みやたわみが出ないかチェック。問題なしで完成です。
