コーナーベンチを自作しました。座面と脚の接合は ボンド + ビス + ダボで 3 重に補強。トリマーで縁を面取りすると一気に見栄えが上がりますね。家族にも好評で作って良かった。

間取り図に実寸を書き込んで、棚 1 段ずつの高さと幅を割り出し。最終チェックは現場合わせ。
Mark a line

材料の表裏とも墨を入れて、切る側を分かりやすく印付け。捨てる側にバツ印を入れる癖をつけてます。
Cut
Use the in-store cut service
CutSTEP 3 / 7
切る前に治具をクランプで固定して、ガイド付きで切断。フリーハンドより遥かに直線が出ます。
Sand
#120 → #240
SandSTEP 4 / 7
サンディング後はエアダスターで木粉を完全除去。塗装前のひと手間で塗りムラが減ります。
Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm

下穴ドリル 2.5mm + 皿取り兼用ビットで一発開け。木口の割れリスクを最小化。
Build the frame

鬼目ナットを使って分解可能な構造に。引っ越し対応も視野に入れたモジュール設計です。
Paint
Watco oil / varnish
PaintSTEP 7 / 7
ブライワックスのジャコビーンを布で擦り込み。1 時間置いてからウエスで磨くと自然な艶が出ます。
