市販品ではしっくりこなかったのでアンティーク風木製看板を自分で組みました。メイン材は今回もイタウバ。雨ざらしでも 10 年は安心です。焼き杉風に表面をバーナーで炙って、ブラシで磨いて木目を強調。家族にも好評で作って良かった。

Cut

杉板を必要寸法にカット。表面はバーナーで軽く炙って木目を強調 (焼き杉風)。
Sand

SandSTEP 3 / 5
ワイヤーブラシで焼いた表面の炭をかき落とし、木目だけを残すようにブラッシング。
Paint
Watco oil / varnish

文字部分はステンシルで手書き感を出して塗装。色は黒で深みを意識。
