ウッドサイン看板を自作しました。賃貸でも置けるサイズで設計してます。ハードウッド (ウリン) を選択。重さと固さに作業中泣かされました。ヤニ止めシーラーを下塗りしてから本塗装。色ムラが出にくいです。家族にも好評で作って良かった。

Cut

杉板を必要寸法にカット。表面はバーナーで軽く炙って木目を強調 (焼き杉風)。
Sand
#120 → #240
SandSTEP 3 / 5
ワイヤーブラシで焼いた表面の炭をかき落とし、木目だけを残すようにブラッシング。
Paint
Watco oil / varnish
PaintSTEP 4 / 5
文字部分はステンシルで手書き感を出して塗装。色は黒で深みを意識。
