六角形ピクニックテーブルを自作しました。周りに何もない環境なので電動工具をフル活用。屋外塗装は 防腐塗料 → クリアの 2 段仕上げで保護を厚めに。結果には満足してます。

コンベックスで 3 回測って数値を揃えました。ここで 1mm でもズレるとあとで響くので慎重に。
Cut

ゼットソーの替刃で手鋸カット。電動と違って騒音気にせず夜でも作業できるのが地味に便利。
Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm

穴位置は治具を使って正確にマーキング。複数箇所で揃えるとビスラインが綺麗に通ります。
Build the frame
Tighten joints firmly

鬼目ナットを使って分解可能な構造に。引っ越し対応も視野に入れたモジュール設計です。
Inspect
No wobble ✓

完成後にガタつきと水平を確認。気になる箇所はサンドペーパーで微調整して仕上げました。
