今回はアンティーク風壁棚にトライ。材料はおなじみのSPF、コスパ重視でいきました。下穴と皿取りビットで木栓仕上げにしたら、表面のビス頭が消えて綺麗です。この作品で DIY のモチベがまた上がりました。

現地でメジャーを当てて、家具との干渉が出ない最大寸法を確定。木取り図を 1 枚にまとめてからホームセンターへ。

ゼットソーの替刃で手鋸カット。電動と違って騒音気にせず夜でも作業できるのが地味に便利。
Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm
DrillSTEP 3 / 5
ビス径より 1mm 細い下穴を入れる流派。SPF みたいな柔らかい材ほど下穴サボると後悔します。
Build the frame
Tighten joints firmly
AssembleSTEP 4 / 5
ボンド + ビスで本体フレームを組み上げ。コーナークランプで直角を維持しながら締め込み。
Inspect
No wobble ✓
InspectSTEP 5 / 5
水準器を 4 方向で当てて水平確認。1 箇所 2mm の浮きがあったので脚の底を削って調整。
