週末を使って丸型ダイニングテーブルを作りました。田舎の広い庭を活かしてゆったり目に作りました。ウリンを使ったので、初期費用は張りますが長期的にはこちらが安いと割り切ってます。ハードメープルは硬くて加工が大変ですが、傷が付きにくいので食卓向きです。費用対効果も高くて満足です。
Steps
間取り図に実寸を書き込んで、棚 1 段ずつの高さと幅を割り出し。最終チェックは現場合わせ。
切る前に治具をクランプで固定して、ガイド付きで切断。フリーハンドより遥かに直線が出ます。
下穴ドリル 2.5mm + 皿取り兼用ビットで一発開け。木口の割れリスクを最小化。
ボンド + ビスで本体フレームを組み上げ。コーナークランプで直角を維持しながら締め込み。
実際に荷重を載せてみて、軋みやたわみが出ないかチェック。問題なしで完成です。
