市販品ではしっくりこなかったので植木鉢台兼ベンチを自分で組みました。屋外用なのでキシラデコール 3 度塗り。1 年経ちますが色褪せ最小限。結果には満足してます。

現地でメジャーを当てて、家具との干渉が出ない最大寸法を確定。木取り図を 1 枚にまとめてからホームセンターへ。
Mark a line

材料 1 本ずつにカット位置を罫書き。スコヤを当てて鉛筆で直角線を引きます。
Cut

ゼットソーの替刃で手鋸カット。電動と違って騒音気にせず夜でも作業できるのが地味に便利。
Sand

サンディング後はエアダスターで木粉を完全除去。塗装前のひと手間で塗りムラが減ります。
Drill a hole
下穴 φ3.5mm

下穴ドリル 2.5mm + 皿取り兼用ビットで一発開け。木口の割れリスクを最小化。

Paint
Watco oil / varnish

ブライワックスのジャコビーンを布で擦り込み。1 時間置いてからウエスで磨くと自然な艶が出ます。
